Our Vision

We're Family having Fun and Experiencing God as we Pray, Grow, Serve, and Love together

Our vision has developed as we have grown as a church. At Light and Life Goleta we concur with the opinion of Stephen Covey that vision is best detected, rather than invented. We have come to see that as a church we are particularly good at three things:

1. We are a diverse and loving family. We have wonderful diversity of ages and cultures at LLG. We are a church where people come from many different familial backgrounds and situations. Some are young singles, some are empty-nesters, some are homeschooling numerous children, while some are old and single. You get the point. We are diverse and we love it!

2. We are particularly good at communicating the gospel to children. The gospel is God's "good news" (that is what "gospel" actually means). With our LLG Kidz Club family experience and other activities we are achieving numerous successes relating to our children's spiritual growth.

3. We believe families should be together for the majority of church. Too often churches segregate families to different worship experiences. We believe that this is necessary to a point, but the majority of the time, families should experience God together.
